Brand portfolio strategy and new brand design for JURA Materials
As a new joint brand, JURA Materials unites 10 Swiss building materials brands. Scholtysik developed the new brand portfolio strategy and the new brand design. JURA Materials is part of the international building materials group CRH, which has an annual revenue of more than 37 billion US Dollar.
JURA Materials produces cement, concrete, and asphalt, extracts gravel, and recycles construction waste at more than 30 locations in Switzerland. Thanks to innovative technology, JURA Materials is the only Swiss manufacturer of significantly CO2-reduced cement and concrete made from Swiss raw materials. In addition, the group is investing in resource-efficient material cycles and reducing both emissions and energy consumption.
The new joint brand strengthens its presence in the fragmented market and positions JURA Materials as an innovation leader in the Swiss building materials industry on the path toward a circular economy with falling emissions and energy needs. It also creates a shared identity for the roughly 800 employees.
The new brand will be introduced nationwide across Switzerland starting in early July 2026. The brand launch marks a far-reaching step for the group — both in its external presence and within the organization. Scholtysik conducted extensive interviews with customers and other specialists from the various business areas and analyzed their respective competitors. Using these insights, Scholtysik worked in close collaboration with management and marketing leaders to develop the new "One-Brand Strategy."
