JURA Materials choose Scholtysik
JURA Materials Group, Switzerland's leading supplier of cement, concrete, gravel, and recycled building materials, has awarded its branding mandate to Scholtysik. The branding and design agency won the contract after a multi-stage evaluation process and will now be responsible for the strategic development of the Swiss brand portfolio. JURA Materials is part of the international building materials group CRH, which generates annual sales of around CHF 30 billion.
JURA Materials produces cement, concrete, and paving; extracts gravel; and recycles construction waste at around 40 locations across Switzerland. Thanks to its innovative technology, JURA Materials is the only Swiss cement and concrete manufacturer with significantly reduced CO₂ emissions. The group also invests in resource-saving material cycles and reducing its energy consumption.
Strategic development of the brand portfolio
The building materials industry is undergoing a profound transformation towards a circular economy with lower emissions and energy consumption. This requires technological expertise and the financial strength to make major investments. However, regional structures with personal contacts and short transport routes remain indispensable. In this context, the JURA Materials Group is looking to formulate the optimal market proposition.
Scholtysik has been tasked with sharpening JURA Materials' brand strategy and aligning the brand portfolio with national and regional brands in anticipation of upcoming changes. Employees and customers from various industries and regions will be involved in the development process. Initial results are expected in 2026.
