Triple for Scholtysik at the Corporate Design Award

Our teams brought three trophies home from the Europe-wide Corporate Design Award 2025: two awards for the redesign of Kein & Aber Verlag and for the brand transformation of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), as well as an honorary mention for the rebranding of the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI.

The three awards recognise Scholtysik’s outstanding design and forward-looking branding ideas. The jury recognised the “bold design, strategically cleverly conceived and implemented with high design quality”. The Corporate Design Award presented a total of 21 awards and 27 honourable mentions.

Holger Huber, Partner at Scholtysik: “For us, the Corporate Design Award is an interesting yardstick because it deals exclusively with strategically based brand design and is judged by both designers and clients. The triple win confirms our creative approach.”

Award for the redesign of Kein & Aber Publishers

The new brand design of the renowned Swiss literary publisher solves the central challenge between a strong publishing brand and individual book design. The redesign strengthens Kein & Aber’s brand identity as a publisher of exceptional literature, while at the same time giving each of the 180 or so works by authors such as Truman Capote, Elke Heidenreich and Hazel Brugger its own unique visual tonality.

Award for the brand transformation of ESCMID

The new branding of the leading European medical society in the field of microbiology and infection supports its strategic realignment as a global organisation. In light of the global threat posed by infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance, the new brand identity more clearly communicates ESCMID’s expanded mission in terms of research, education, and industry cooperation to the outside world, while also emphasising the organisation’s increased responsibility.

Honorary Mention for the rebranding of the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI

The dynamic logo of Switzerlands largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences visualises the essence of scientific research through a constantly changing cloud of particles. The animation of tiny particles in constant motion reflects real research areas such as quantum technology and neutron scattering, bringing the complexity, dynamics and fascination of scientific work to life.

This is already the third time PSI’s new brand identity has been awarded after previously winning the Focus Open Award and the iF Award.
